About

Company history

Royal Denship Danish shipyard has been working on individual projects since 2000. During its short history the company has managed to take part in the construction of several famous megayachts.

Unfortunately, the economic crisis of the second half of the 2000s, which hit the shipbuilding industry hard, did not bypass Royal Denship. The company's difficulties began in 2007, when one of the main contractors Aarhus Shipyard admitted bankruptcy. At that time three vessels were under construction at the shipyard and had to be completed by other contractors, which resulted in additional costs. In the spring of 2009, Royal Denship was declared bankrupt.

Status .

A little later, the company was able to resume operations and in 2015 became part of the Hartman Marine Group. The first yacht built together was a 24.38-metre yacht. Livingstone. Royal Denship is not currently in operation.

Production .

Denship did not have its own production facilities. The company used the services of Assens Shipyard, Danyard Aalborg Yachts, Fredericia Shipyard, Tuco Yacht Vaerft and Aarhus Shipyards in the construction of boats.

Fleet

The shipyard undertook a variety of projects, the company built both motor and sailing boats. The fleet included more than 20 models with lengths from 24 to 77 meters. The smallest boats of the family - 25 and 26-meter models - are made of fiberglass and can reach speeds up to 30-35 knots.

The more serious yachts are built in steel and aluminium, they are not as fast but capable of transatlantic cruising and many boast a range of 6000 nautical miles or more.

Features .

A wide range of contractor shipyards allowed Royal Denship to be flexible when designing boats. The company was not limited to the size of future boats and could offer a client a megayacht in any material. At the same time, the company was confident in quality because professionals with extensive experience in a particular field and material were always involved in the construction.
