About

Company history

The Italian shipyard CBI Navi was founded in 1984 on the coast of the Ligurian Sea in Viareggio. In the mid-2000s the company joined the Fipa Group, which also includes AB Yachts and Maiora.

The merger benefited the brand, CBI Navi started producing larger boats and fully focused on building custom-designed models. Also for the Fipa Group, the purchase of the shipyard provided additional experience in metal applications.

Production

The boats under the CBI Navi brand are assembled at the factory in Viareggio, which has direct access to the sea. The company's production facilities allow the construction of boats up to 80 meters long. Many models are created by Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates design studio, which is also known for projects for Mondomarine, Golden Yachts and Mitsubishi HeavyIndustries.

In addition to the production and sale of superyachts, the shipyard provides boat maintenance and storage services, thus providing a full range of services for its customers.

Fleet

Among the CBI Navi boats built, there are displacement and semi-displacement models in steel and aluminium from 31 to 50 meters long. The portfolio of new projects includes larger boats such as the hull of the CBI 777, which is almost 77.7 meters long.

The largest of the shipyards built to date is the 50-meter Alibi, launched in 2005.

Features .

The company pays attention to environmental issues and green technology. Fipa Group factories are UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004 certified, which confirms the application of modern production methods that preserve the environment.
