The verdict

Savannah is an 83.5-metre Feadship from 2015, built as the world’s first hybrid superyacht: one diesel engine, three generators and a battery bank, which the yard says saves about 30% of fuel. Charter brokers quote a base fee of €1,200,000 a week for both summer and winter. She takes 12 guests in six cabins with a crew of 24, and the draw is design rather than size: a nine-metre pool on the aft deck, the semi-submerged Nemo lounge and an interior of curved walls by CG Design. She was sold in May 2025 and is now offered for occasional charter only, so expect to ask a broker for dates rather than pick from a calendar.

Questions

How much does it cost to charter Savannah yacht?
A base fee of €1,200,000 per week, the same in summer and winter (Burgess). Boat International quoted the same weekly rate in January 2024. Fuel, food, berthing, VAT and crew tips are normally charged on top of the base fee; the typical amount for Savannah isn’t published.
Can you still charter Savannah after she was sold?
Yes, but only occasionally. She was sold through Edmiston in May 2025 (Boat International), and charter listings now describe her as available for occasional charters to select clients (YachtCharterFleet), with weekly rates still published by Burgess. Dates have to be requested through a charter broker; charter.ly is a review site and does not take bookings.
What yacht was used in The Woman in Cabin 10?
Savannah. In the Netflix film she plays the fictional yacht Aurora Borealis, and the yacht scenes were shot in Portland Harbour in Dorset, England, in September 2024 (Boat International).
How much is the yacht Savannah worth?
The sale price in May 2025 was not published. Before the sale her last asking price was €140,000,000, after a €29,000,000 reduction in June 2024; she had been on the market since September 2023 (Boat International).
Why is Savannah called the first hybrid superyacht?
Feadship built her in 2015 with one diesel engine, three generators, batteries, a propeller and an azimuthing thruster working together, a combination no superyacht had used before; the yard puts the fuel saving at about 30% (Feadship). Her battery bank of about one megawatt can carry the hotel load on its own and lets her cruise quietly on electric power alone (YachtBuyer).
What is the Nemo lounge on Savannah?
A semi-submerged lounge low in the hull with windows into the sea and into the swimming pool, set out like an amphitheatre; a drop-down screen turns it into a cinema (YachtBuyer, Boat International).
