The verdict

Skyfall is a 57.9-metre aluminium motor yacht delivered by the American yard Trinity Yachts in 2010 and refitted in 2020. She charters for $290,000 to $350,000 a week plus expenses, depending on the season. Twelve guests sleep in six cabins with a crew of 14; the sundeck has a Jacuzzi, a splash pool and a helipad used as a basketball court, and a lift serves the decks. Her shallow draft suits the Bahamas and the Caribbean in winter, New England in summer, and a western Mediterranean season is listed for 2028.

Base charter fee per week. How much does it cost to charter Skyfall?

The base rate is $290,000 a week in low season and $350,000 in peak season, plus expenses, for both the Caribbean winter 2026/27 and the US East Coast summer 2026 (CharterIndex; YachtCharterFleet). IYC lists the same range through winter 2027/28 and €290,000–350,000 for a western Mediterranean summer in 2028. Fuel, food, berthing, taxes and crew tips are charged on top; the usual amount for Skyfall isn't published.

Can you rent the Skyfall yacht in the US?

She spends summers on the US East Coast, mainly New England, but IYC notes she is not offered for charter to US residents while in US waters. Her winter season, from late October to April, is in the Caribbean and the Bahamas (IYC; CharterIndex). Bookings go through a charter broker; charter.ly does not take bookings.

Is Skyfall for sale, and what was her asking price?

She was listed for sale in November 2023, and after a further $1 million cut at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale boat show she was asking $24.5 million (Boat International, 29 Oct 2025). YachtBuyer shows the listing ended in May 2026, with no sale reported. She remains listed for charter.

What is the interior of Skyfall like?

The interior is by Patrick Knowles in Honduran mahogany, European maple burl and Australian lacewood (Boat International). Guests enter from the aft deck through a foyer lined with wine cabinets into the main salon, which has formal dining for 12; the sky lounge has a bar and a games table (IYC). The split-level master suite has panoramic views, and a lift runs between the decks.

How many guests can Skyfall take?

Twelve guests in six cabins: a split-level master suite, a VIP, three doubles and a twin, all with bathrooms. The gym can be turned into a seventh cabin. She carries a crew of 14 (Boat International; YachtCharterFleet).

Was Skyfall always called Skyfall?

No. Trinity Yachts delivered her in 2010 as Mi Sueño, and she was shown under that name at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale boat show (Superyachts.com). She was sold in June 2014 and by November that year was renamed Skyfall and offered for charter in the Caribbean that winter (SuperyachtNews; YachtCharterFleet). She changed hands again in February 2018 and is privately owned (SuperyachtNews).
