Black Pearl is a 106.7-metre Oceanco sailing yacht delivered in 2018, and Boat International calls her the largest sailing yacht available for charter (Boat International, Feb 2026). The base rate is €850,000 to €950,000 a week plus expenses (YachtCharterFleet). She takes 12 guests in seven cabins with a crew of 27, and her crew aim to set sail whenever the weather allows (Boat International). For 2026–27 her central agent lists Central America for the winter and the South Pacific for summer 2027 (IYC).

€850,000 per week + expensesSummer

Base charter fee per week. Expenses are charged on top: usually an advance provisioning allowance (APA, a deposit for fuel, food and berthing), VAT and crew tips; the typical amount for Black Pearl isn’t published. Most listings quote €850,000, rising to €950,000 in the summer high season. In July 2025 Megayacht News quoted the rate from €830,000 a week; in September 2025 the German magazine Yacht reported about €1.2 million a week through one charter agency, and for July–August 2026 the central agent offered €800,000.

How much does it cost to charter the Black Pearl yacht?
The base rate is €850,000 a week in winter and €850,000 to €950,000 a week in summer, plus expenses (YachtCharterFleet). Her central agent IYC quotes €850,000 a week for winter 2026–27 and summer 2027 (IYC). For July and August 2026 she was offered at €800,000, 15% below the regular price (Boat International). Expenses such as fuel, food, berthing, VAT and crew tips come on top; the typical amount for Black Pearl isn’t published.
Can you charter the Black Pearl sailing yacht?
Yes. She was first offered for charter from St Barts in early 2023 (YachtCharterFleet, Jan 2023), and IYC took her into its charter fleet in June 2025 (IYC). Bookings go through a charter broker; charter.ly is a review site and does not take bookings.
Where will Black Pearl be in 2026 and 2027?
IYC lists her in Central America (Panama and Costa Rica) from 23 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, then in the South Pacific (Fiji, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and French Polynesia) from 1 May to 30 September 2027 (IYC). Earlier seasons followed the usual pattern of Mediterranean summers and Caribbean or Bahamas winters (YachtCharterFleet, Sep 2025). For her live position, use a public AIS tracker such as MarineTraffic and match the length (106.7 m) and build year (2018): several yachts share the name.
Is Black Pearl the largest sailing yacht in the world?
Not quite. Boat International calls her the second-largest sailing yacht on the water (Boat International, Jul 2026) and the largest available for charter (Boat International, Feb 2026). Yacht.de puts her second after the 125 m Koru, noting that the 143 m Sailing Yacht A is registered as a motor yacht with sail assistance.
How fast is Black Pearl under sail?
Boat International reports that she reached 30 knots under sail during sea trials before her delivery in March 2018, and gives a top speed of 17.5 knots under her two diesel engines (Boat International). Later reports give a top speed of about 24.5 knots under sail (Yacht.de) and up to 10 knots on electric power alone (Boat International).
How many guests can stay on Black Pearl?
Twelve guests in seven cabins: a full-beam master suite, two VIP suites, one double, one twin and two convertible cabins, with a crew of 27 (YachtCharterFleet; Boat International).
