Kogo, built at the Alstom Leroux Naval shipyard, which has since been taken over by South Korea's STX, is the only French-built yacht in our ranking. This tri-deck steel boat, another Tim Heywood design, is very tough and can voyage through arctic conditions. She can reach 18 knots of speed thanks to her diesel-electric engines. The interior of the yacht was designed by the famous designer Terence Disdale. He decided to make her in an ultra modern and simple style. She can accommodate 14 passengers in comfort with her two VIP suites and five guest cabins. Owner Mansoor Ojai has long been associated with Formula 1 racing, most notably with McLaren, a stable in which he owns a 15% stake. He also owns shares in TAG Aviation. Kogo offers charter cruises for 476,000 euros per week.
