Ed Dubois' sailing yacht Margaret Ann was so successful that the Pendennis shipyard even decided to build a series of similar 95-footers. Margaret Ann was conceived as a fast cruising yacht, offering high speed and seaworthiness, comfort on board and an elegant appearance. The yacht's interior is finished in fine walnut wood and is laid out in Dubois's typical style: an upper dining salon in the setup and a "relaxation" salon below the boat. Curiously, the boat's in-house captain is the son of the famous yacht designer Robert Humphrey Richard, known by the nickname Humph. His high reputation in the yachting industry contributes to the boat's popularity among Caribbean charter clients.
