History of the brand

In 1993, a year after graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Cristiano Gatto began working for Nuvolari Lenard, where he became project manager and head of interior design, and then general manager of the studio. In 2001 Christiano founded his own studio, but by this time he had become internationally renowned in yacht design and orders were falling apart.

Philosophy

At Cristiano Gatto Design they say: «We never impose our style on the client, but we trust our experience, creativity, flexibility that allow us to design their wishes».

Specialisation

The studio develops interiors and exteriors of superyachts. The company also undertakes the creation of projects for refits, offers turnkey services - full support of the client, starting with the first sketches, ending with the choice of the shipyard for construction and control of all processes during construction.

Cooperation with shipyards

The total number of Cristiano Gatto Design projects has passed far beyond a hundred. In less than 20 years, Cristiano has worked with almost every renowned shipyard. Among his partners are Heesen, Benetti, Icon Yachts, Astondoa, Canados, Cantieri di Pisa and this is by no means a complete list.

Landmark projects

During the history of the studio a lot of boats were decorated, which brought awards to the company's piggy bank. One of the last was the 49.78-meter Heesen Home. The superyacht won a prize at the 2017 Cannes show, the following year she took two Neptune statuettes from Boat International magazine and was a finalist in two more nominations.
