Designer description Galeazzi e Minotti Architetti Associati

Brand History

Galeazzi Design Studio was founded in 1987 in Rome by the architect Carlo Galeazzi. The company quickly became famous and in 2004 the new partner Francesca Minotti joined the team, at that time the studio was renamed Galeazzi e Minotti Architetti Associati.

Philosophy

When working on projects in the company, there are three main points: space first, functionality second, and form third.

Specialty

Galeazzi Design specialises in architecture, boat interiors and exteriors. The studio's portfolio includes small production models as well as semi-custom and custom superyachts.

Cooperation with shipyards

The company has established cooperation with almost all successful Italian shipyards as well as with foreign shipbuilders. More than a hundred projects have been realized in partnership with Azimut, Benetti, Baia, Chris-Craft, Cantieri di Pisa and others.

Landmark projects

The biggest popularity of the studio is due to the work on the Akhir series for Cantieri di Pisa, for example on the boat Project 12 (later Balista). Galeazzi Design worked on the exterior of the project, the 47-metre yacht received a huge sundeck, shaded terraces aft and a relaxing area on the Fordeca. The model was awarded the World Superyacht Awards 2014 and was shortlisted as one of the finalists.

The company is also known for many projects for Azimut, for which it has repeatedly received awards at leading international exhibitions.

The team .

Galeazzi Design is still located in Rome and is managed by Carlo Galeazzi and Francesca Minotti. The partners are personally involved in each project.
