The verdict

Dream began in 1997 as a passenger ship cruising the Mediterranean and was rebuilt in Greece into a 106.5-metre private yacht, delivered in 2018 (Boat International; YachtCharterFleet). The conversion won the Converted Yachts category at the 2019 World Superyacht Awards (Boat International). Her main charter case is the size of party: 36 guests in 22 cabins (YachtCharterFleet). Summer 2026 rates run from €2,000,000 to €2,200,000 a week plus expenses (Northrop & Johnson), and she is based in Athens for the Greek season (YachtCharterFleet, June 2024).

Questions

How much does it cost to charter the Dream yacht?
For summer 2026 the base rate is €2,000,000 a week in low season and €2,200,000 in high season, plus expenses (Northrop & Johnson). CharterWorld gives the same range, and the €2,000,000 starting figure has held since Boat International reported it in September 2021. Fuel, food, berthing, VAT and crew tips are charged on top.
How many guests can stay on Dream?
Thirty-six guests sleep on board in 22 cabins, 16 doubles and six twins (Y.CO); some listings count 18 cabins (Boat International). For dinners and events she can host 44 (Boat International). YachtCharterFleet calls her one of the rare options for larger charter parties (YachtCharterFleet, June 2024).
What was Dream before she became a yacht?
She was a 93-metre passenger ship, built in Turkey by Haliç Tersaneleri and delivered in 1997, that ran cruises around the Mediterranean (Boat International; Boat International). Olympic Yacht Services rebuilt her at Chalkis Shipyards in Greece, adding about 13 metres, a new bow, stern and superstructure; she was delivered as a yacht in 2018 (YachtCharterFleet; Boat International). The project had been unveiled in 2008 as Poseidonos (Boat International). Earlier ship names on record are Cildir and Tdi Karadeniz (Boat International).
Where does Dream cruise?
She is based in Athens and cruises the Mediterranean from June to October (YachtCharterFleet, June 2024). Her listing names the Greek islands and Mykonos, the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast (YachtCharterFleet). A winter area isn’t published. For her current position, check an AIS tracker and match the length (106.5 m) and year (1997): several yachts are called Dream.
Is the Dream yacht available for charter?
Yes, she is listed for charter with published summer 2026 rates (Northrop & Johnson) and on YachtCharterFleet and Y.CO. CharterIndex lists her as private, so confirm dates with a broker. charter.ly is a review site and does not take bookings.
Does Dream have a helipad and a pool?
Yes. The sundeck has a helipad and a large two-level mosaic pool with a swim-up bar (YachtCharterFleet; Boat International). Below decks there are a cinema, a spa with sauna and steam room, a gym, a beach club behind a stern door and two guest lifts (Boat International).
