The verdict

Excellence is an 80-metre Abeking & Rasmussen from 2019, styled inside and out by Winch Design, with a sharply reversed bow and a glass-walled superstructure; she was named Finest New Yacht at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show. She takes 12 guests in 7 cabins and charters from $1,150,000 a week plus expenses in the Caribbean winter, up to $1,300,000 in high season. A main-deck pool with a swim-up bar, a tiered cinema, a spa and a beach club suit a group that wants to spend most of the week on board. Her base in recent seasons has been the Caribbean and the Bahamas; summer cruising is on request.

Questions

How much does it cost to charter Excellence?
In the Caribbean winter the base rate is $1,150,000 a week in low season and $1,300,000 in high season, plus expenses (YachtCharterFleet; Burgess, July 2026). Summer weeks were quoted at €1,200,000–€1,350,000 for the 2025 season (Northrop & Johnson) and at $1,200,000–$1,350,000 in 2026 (Burgess). Fuel, food, berthing, VAT and crew tips are charged on top; the typical amount isn’t published.
Where is the yacht Excellence now?
We don’t publish positions; use a public AIS tracker such as VesselFinder and match the length (80 m) and build year (2019), because several yachts share the name. In October 2026 she was taking bookings for the Caribbean winter season (YachtCharterFleet).
How many guests can Excellence accommodate?
Twelve charter guests in seven cabins: a master suite on the owner’s upper deck and six doubles on the main deck, with a crew of 22 (Burgess; YachtCharterFleet). Some directories list up to 14 guests and 23 crew (Boat International).
What is inside the Excellence yacht?
A triple-height glass atrium with an elevator, a tiered cinema, a spa with a sauna, a gym, a pool with a swim-up bar on the main deck aft, two jacuzzis and a beach club with a sea terrace. Tenders include two Hodgdon limousine tenders (Burgess). Interior and exterior are by Winch Design (Abeking & Rasmussen).
Who built Excellence and when?
Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany, as yard number 6505, delivered in 2019 (Abeking & Rasmussen). The shipyard published film of her launch on 25 May 2019 (Abeking & Rasmussen on YouTube), and she joined the charter fleet that autumn, starting with the Caribbean from December 2019 (YachtCharterFleet, 17 Sep 2019). She is the sixth yacht to carry the name (Burgess).
What awards has Excellence won?
The Finest New Yacht and the Exterior Design Award at the Monaco Yacht Show Awards 2019, a Judges’ Commendation for Best Lighting Design at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2020, and the Robb Report 2020 interior award (YachtCharterFleet).
